How effing sad is this?!!! Apparently when Michael Jackson died, his three children were able to bid farewell to their papa as the pop star lay dead in his hospital bed. But don’t fear…a therapist was present. Ummm, alrighty then.
According to a source, once the news broke, Jermaine reveals that the singer’s kids – Prince Michael Jr., 12, Paris Michael Katherine, 11, and seven-year-old Prince Michael II – were escorted into their father’s room so they could say their goodbyes one last time. Even though it was a decision that was initially opposed by the family, after learning that a therapist would be present, the kids saw their dad one last time…deceased.
Jermaine says, “I know it’s tough, but I think it was the best thing to do. At first I was against it, but what do you say if you don’t show them?”
Sad, sad, sad.
