Though Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine agreed for the hit “She Will Be Loved” to be used in a Guitar Hero spin-off, Band Hero went must have thought that because they got Levine to one thing they could do what they wanted to. HA! Think again. Watch out for Levine!
Adam claims that Activision breached their contract by adding a feature that gives users the opportunity to make HIS avatar sing more than 60 songs!
The lawsuit said that a number of the songs “would not have been chosen by him for recordings or performances”.
And with that being said, Levine is suing for not just breach of contract, but also “fraudulent inducement, violation of the common law right of publicity AND unfair business acts or practices.” Now that’s a mouth full!
And apparently he’s looking for a pocket full of ching as well.
But before you start calling Adam a greedy bastard slash douche for getting huffy over what some would call ‘nothin’, No Doubt and Axl Rose have also thrown in a lawsuit at the same interactive video game company!
