It has long been rumored (since July 2008) that the soulful songstress known as Adele was going to make a move to the United States, and NOW it seems the move is going to become a reality. Reason for the delay has had to do with what Adele calls an “ELC”.
“I’ve had an early life crisis. I was really unhappy at home and there was a lot of family stuff going on, which is why I had to cancel dates in the US in the summer. But I got better again — I stopped drinking.”
Yay for laying off the booze.
“I’m starting to become more independent. I want to finish writing my next album by April but I can’t write when I’m on the road — I get distracted. I want to live with the songs for four or five months then go in the studio and record them.”
I am feenin’ for some new Adele jams. I need some new bedtime lullabies. For now, I’ll have to keep poppin’ the Lunesta and wait and see whether Adele takes home any of the FOUR Grammy awards she is nominated for. A win could mean a celebrationary cheeseburger and two months holed in the studio producing some new jams for us, the fans. HOLLA!
