Videos tell a story. And AFI is all about doing so when it comes to the creation of their music videos.

Whenever AFI unveils a video fans immediately react with questions on the video’s meaning — from hidden messages to overall themes. The premiere of the “Beautiful Thieves” was no different, and to sate fans the band has released a behind the scenes look at the video. In the six minute piece each member of AFI shares insight on the song itself, the meaning of the video, or what it’s like on the set of a video shoot. In describing the overall video lead vocalist Davey remarks, “[It] shows people actually being forced to be responsible for their actions. We implement that retribution, if you will.”
That’s deep but definitely something I can appreciate.
