Alesha Dixon, former Misteeq member and “Strictly Dancing” winner, is taking over the UK charts with her hit single “The Boy Does Nothing”, which I must admit I am seriously addicted to. And now, Alesha is working on promoting her second single “Breathe Slow”, with a video that is a bit more racy and provocative for Alesha. Alesha describes this jam as one about “those moments in life when you want to lash out, but you don’t because getting angry would empower someone else, so instead you empower yourself by staying cool.”
Whether you feel empowered or not when listening to this song, many critics are labeling Miss Dixon a wanna-be Beyonce. Depending on how a person takes it, I suppose it could be a compliment.
