Amy Winehouse’s father Papa Mitch decided that he is going to sell the London house where his daughter died last summer. And Wino fans are pissed!
Wino was found dead at her Camden home last July and just on Thursday Papa Mitch and Amy’s mother Janis are putting the three bedroom home on the market for $4.3 million. Apparently the costs of the property are too much for the Winehouse parents to keep up with and what better way to get it off their hands then to sell it to someone who wants to live in a dead singer’s home!
Mitch Winehouse took to Twitter.com to announce his decision, “It is with regret that we have to sell Amy’s house in Camden Square. It is empty and costing a fortune to secure it. Amy and I both worked on the house and she loved it so much. I hope a lovely family buys it as it is so full of love.”
Instead now fans are in an uproar and accusing Mitch of being a money hungry douchebag!
Mitch’s response? “Some of you are being stupid. It costs $50,000 per month to keep house and security. That’s all I have to say on this matter.”
