The announcement of the coveted Oscar nominations took place this morning, presented by Oscar winner Forest Whitaker and the Academy President Sid Garis. Let’s put it this way, there weren’t a whole lot of surprises. Leading the nominations include “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” receiving 13 nods, “Slumdog Millionaire” receiving 10 nods, and “The Dark Knight” and “Milk each receiving 8 nominations.
