Will Angelina Jolie be Maleficent in Tim Burton‘s Sleeping Beauty? Jolie as a wicked Godmother rather than Sleeping Beauty? Hmmm.
Angelina Jolie may be working with Johnny Depp in her current flick The Tourist, but now perhaps she’ll have another role alongside the sexy hunk. Because Sleeping Beauty is being directed by Tim Burton, it really is only safe to assume that Johnny Depp would have some sort of role in this flick. Am I not right? Well, I could be wrong, but a handsome prince, perhaps? Or is 46 years of age a tad too old for a handsome prince role?
According to reports, Miss Jolie is in talks to play the evil fairy Maleficent in a Tim Burton version of Sleeping Beauty. Surely, Burton rocked the box office with Alice in Wonderland, so a gothic twist on Sleeping Beauty would be interesting to say the least. Let’s just hope he leaves the Little Mermaid’s Ariel alone!
