For most of us, when we get fired, we don’t usually leave our employer richer, but we are only ordinary folks and not Ann Curry. The soon to be former host of Today is set to be released from her gig next week, but before you get out your tissues to weep for her, hold your horses. According to network insiders, Curry is set to receive $10 million dollars as part of her contract agreement. The deal, which was signed a year ago, stipulates that Ann Curry is to receive $10 million per year over the course of three years.

Where is my check? What do I need to do around here to get fired and then get a hefty paycheck?! Life is just not fair!
So what is NBC going to do with Ann Curry since they still have her on payroll? Well, once Today ends, it is likely that Ann will be named as a foreign correspondent for NBC News.
