Ok, so finally the Bachelorette finale aired last night and we were in fact bombarded with a bit of “twist” action, just as Reality Steve predicted. So, just who did Jillian Harris choose?
However, for those of you who read the spoilers divulged a couple weeks ago, you knew what was going to happen…sort of.
So here’s how it all went down last night…
Just as Jillian was waiting for Ed to arrive, Reid, who was recently eliminated, came back to tell Jillian that he loved her and…well, he made a fool out of himself and proposed! He says, “I know that you felt what I felt, and I thought just you knowing that was enough….I came back to tell you that and to tell you that I love you.”
Of course because she already had her mind made up, she turned down Reid hardcore saying her heart was with someone else. “Our relationship is complete….I am 100% madly in love with Ed.” Stab in the heart!
But when Ed arrived, television viewers’ hearts sank, especially when Ed spoke. “Jillian you may not know how much you’ve impacted me…you’re everything that I could ever ask for in a woman.You’re beautiful, you’re intelligent, you’re funny, you’re confident, and you make me smile when I look in your eyes. I know that I love you, but before we go any further, I need to know if you love me.”
Well, of course she loves Eddy! So without further adieu…
Ed then got down on one knee and said, “I want to be with you forever. I want a family with you. I want you to give me a hard time when we’re 80-years-old. Jillian, will you marry me?”
Jillian responded with a big fat, “Absolutely!”
So that’s how it all went down…but the question that we are all dying to know is…are Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski STILL together???? Or did she pick the wrong guy?
