Becki Newton pregnant
Actress Becki Newton is pregnant with her first child. The former Ugly Betty star has confirmed she is expecting a baby with her husband Chris Diamantopoulos, whom she wed in May 2005.
However, the happy news is causing a bit of a headache for execs at NBC – they are having to push back the premiere of her new TV series Love Bites.
Writers are also having to take steps to adjust Newton’s character in the show, according to USA Today.
A spokesperson for NBC network explains, “She plays a virgin (in the pilot episode), so we have to make adjustments to that.”
Ha, well unless she’s playing the Virgin Mary, there better be some well placed pillows in that pilot.
