Ben Kingsley Hollywood Star Walk of Fame
Ben Kingsley has been crowned King with a star of his own on the Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. It’s about effing time. Considering he never thought he would get one, he should be damn happy somebody forked over some ching to get him one.
At the ceremony, Kingsley made his little speech at the podium gushing “Dear friends, standing here today amongst you is one of the many things I thought growing up in England that would never happen to me and it has and I’m thrilled.”
He better be thrilled ‘cuz he is only a few of the balding men to land a star of his own. Considering he was the 2,410th star to receive the honor, you can bet your booties that there aren’t a whole lot of balding geriatric men you can step on.
Kingsley’s latest film is the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time in which he works alongside the sexy (and single) Jake Gyllenhaal.
And granted, this is one celebrity I am actually happy for to have snagged up a star. I mean, come on…Kingsley is a four-time Oscar nominee. Benny worked for this star.
