Isla Fisher Will Brush Her Hair When She Wants To.
Isla Fisher, best known for her nymphomaniac role in the hit movie “Wedding Crashers” and her relationship with her thong-wearing baby daddy, Sasha Baron Cohen, doesn’t take herself seriously. The Aussie actress sat down with FHM magazine to dish on her latest projects, fashion, beauty, Russell Crowe, and her love for thongs. Below are some of the highlights from the interview that can be viewed in its entirety in the December issue of FHM.
Why Aussies Have Success In Hollywood:
“I think Australia has a great state-funded drama system and I think we can do the accent, and I think we look hot in a bikini, haha! Including Russell Crowe.”
On Fashion:
“Oh, I’m a bag person and then a shoe person, but I’m not really into clothes. I’m not a big beauty girl. I love a bath and some candles, but I haven’t even brushed my hair for six months.”
On How Isla Stays Looking Fabulous:
“I have never been a big fan of working out and I’ve never been a sporty person - I was always more of a book worm. I know it sounds like a cliché, but I’ve been blessed with good genes. My mum is little, and I’m fortunate that I don’t like eating junk food. I just don’t like the taste of it.”
On Being Criticized For Putting On Pounds While Being Pregnant:
When I was pregnant, I remember someone wrote on a blog that I had gained too much weight. I remember being really shocked that even during something as incredible and beautiful as pregnancy, you are still subject to body fascism.
Her Dream Acting Role:
Babe in Pig In The City Part 3.
