Ashlee Simpson rang in 2009 as a blonde. What gives? I suppose a change is in store for the new mamasita. Nothing wrong with a little bit of change and looking like a 16-year-old blonde again.

Anyhow, Ash and her hubby Pete Wentz landed a gig at PURE nightclub to host the evening’s festivities. It was a big year for these two…with a marriage and a birth of their baby bundle Bronx Mowgli. So what better way than to get paid for drinking some champagne and smooching it up in public. Yaya.

Rumor has it that the two lovebirds kept huddled next to the main VIP stage where they eventually settled into the white leather VIP bed next to the DJ booth where Mr. DJ Hollywood spun some upbeat jams to keep the peeps on their feet up until midnight.

Other “celebrities” spotted at PURE’s party were Hollywood’s annoying Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.

Ashlee Simpson and her emo husband Pete Wentz finally gave birth to their baby, a little bouncing baby boy. Only thing is, in order to get the initials B-M-W, the lovely couple named their baby after a suburb in New York and a child that prances around in the jungle with red crotch-riding underwear on…one can only assume.

Emo baby Bronx Mowgli Wentz weighed in at 7 lbs., 11 oz., and was 20 1/2 inches long and came out of the womb with an emo-hawk and red scundies. How perfectly emo!

Congratulations to the happy new parents. “Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!” a spokesperson told PEOPLE. And huge congrats goes out to the new grandpa, Papa Joe. We suspect Papa Joe will christen his little jungle boy with a big fat gold chain with a pacifier spinner. What a glorious day that will be!

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has been out and about frequently, mainly photographed at or leaving restaurants with her hubby and her growing belly. A girl’s gotta eat to keep that baby growing!

Rumors have been flying that Ash and Pete are expecting a boy. The couple were seen shopping for pink. So if that is any indication?

Four months pregnant Ashlee Simpson-Wentz looks like she is enjoying her new pregnant body, putting her ta-tas on display. Hey when you go from A cup to a C cup, why not flaunt what you got! Go on with your bad self, girl!

Ashlee had always been in big sister Jessica’s shadow. Jessica had the semi-successful career, the ideal marriage to now ex-husband Nick Lachey, the hit television reality show, AND the perfect nose.

Now is Jessica feeling a little bit of jealousy as the tables have seemed to turn a little bit? Well, if she is livid, she’s doing a good job of hiding it.

Jessica told a source, “She’ll be amazing, absolutely amazing,” Simpson said of her sister being a mom.

As for Ashlee’s marriage, Simpson says; “They’re just the cutest couple in the world. They are adorable. Anybody would wish to be them and you can only wish them well. Just being around them inspires love and everything I sing about.”

Who said Jessica Simpson couldn’t act? Damn fools!

Smashlee Simpson fans around the world, break out the tissue. It has been a whirlwind for you fans, for that I am sure with the wedding news and then, bam…pregnancy news. It’s certainly a lot to take in. Now I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the lip-synching superstar has decided to cancel all tour dates for the summer.

Oh well. Get your money back and spend it on a Blizzard from Dairy Queen or something. I know I am not being very sympathetic here…but, hey there is a bright side…Smashlee does plan on coming back to tour AFTER the baby arrives.

Well, it is official from the horse’s mouth.

“While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child,” the newlyweds wrote. “This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family.”

Wow, they sure hid that well. Not. We can’t wait to see their little greaseball! I bet it will be born with hair gel already in its hair and blue eyeliner lining its eyes. Cute.

It’s official. Pete Wentz made an honest woman out of Ashlee Simpson. And, what was even more interesting was Papa Joe married them HIMSELF!  Big sista Messy Jess served as Maid of Honor and Tony Romo did in fact show up, dispelling rumors of a breakup.

According to a source, With the help of wedding planner Mindy Weiss, Simpson got her dream nuptials: The Alice in Wonderland themed reception featured a wedding cake by Sam Godfrey of Perfect Endings with a top hat, tea pot, stop watch and a pot of flowers on top. The elaborate centerpieces of black beauty roses were by Mark’s Garden. Guests were served Rose Veuve Clicquot champagne followed by a sit-down dinner and dancing to a deejay.

For sweet, nothing like a nonsensical Disney-themed wedding.  Sources have also confirmed that Ashlee is indeed four months preggers, hence a major reason for the rushed nuptials.

We found out some details of the wedding that has been building up excitement all week…well, maybe not excitement…let’s just say the event has given us something to talk about.

*Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson WILL BE tying the knot tomorrow in the garden of Simpson’s parents’ house in Encino, CA.

*The pair will profess their celebrity lifetime love (of at least 5 years) in front of 250 guests.

*Petey and Smashlee have asked guests to dress in dark colors for the occasion.

*A large white tent with bright red curtains has been erected in the garden, with a seating area set up “around a fireplace adorned with a cross”, reports US magazine.com.

*People has paid “well over” $1 million for the rights to run the wedding photos.

All I hope is they at least shower for this occasion!

Rumor has it there is a wedding in the works for Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz of Fallout Boy THIS SATURDAY.

According to US Weekly, The location, time and all other details are being kept a closely-guarded secret.

A source close to the pair tells the publication: “Proper invites have not been sent out but guests have been given a save-the-date notice.”

So, why the quick wedding? Well duh, she’s gotta be preggers. Both have denied that rumor, but we tend to believe there is a baby in that belly!
