David Beckham is one of THE hottest sports athlete on the planet. Not only has Men’s Health declared him “the world’s greatest sporting icon”, but THAT is one fact there is no denying.

The magazine says, “Beckham is, without a doubt, planetary. As far as universally recognizable names in sports today, you have David Beckham. After him, who? Tiger Woods. That’s about it. Even the big names in US sports - Tom Brady, LeBron James, Alex Rodriguez - are unknowns in international waters. But just about everyone, everywhere, knows who David Beckham is.”

That’s nice and all. I mean, let’s be real here…the man was blessed with good looks AND talent.

On top of that…I knew NOTHING about soccer before David Beckham. Heck, I still don’t know ANYTHING about soccer.

But, I will say I do pay a lot more attention to the sport now that David has made his mark in it. How HOT are these pics?

You KNOW you are a big deal when you get an appearance on Sesame Street…ESPECIALLY a scene with Elmo. I mean…seriously. Elmo IS the shiznit.

Is a “Tickle Me David” doll in the works?

As Posh and Becks come close to their one year anniversary of arriving in Los Angeles, David gives us his TRUE feelings on Californ-I-A. Bloggin’ it up on his official website, David says:

It seems like only a few weeks ago I arrived in Los Angeles with my family ready for the next chapter in our lives. A year later and we feel so settled here, everyone loves California and everyone has made us feel so welcome. I can’t imagine being anywhere else in the world right now.

Of course, I’m enjoying playing my soccer too. Last season was a bit stop start for me with the injuries which wasn’t helped by the fact that I arrived part way through the MLS season, but this year we’re playing well and I look forward to every match as well as visiting different cities and stadiums around this amazing country. You can see a real impact being made across the country, we play in front of big crowds and soccer is now more prominent in the media and more people seem to be aware of the league around the world.

My teammates have been great to me and we have a brilliant set of fans. I’m thankful to them and to the people of Los Angeles for making my family and I so welcome since we arrived here.

Victoria seems pretty comfortable in Cali too, as she hangs out poolside SANS makeup. She is ONE celeb who looks better WITHOUT a caked on mask! Others…need all the help they can get!

Being David Beckham isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. You would think a guy like Beckham would have the perfect life. For the most part, he does…however, there is something fishy about this guy.

His breath. Literally.

A source told Star magazine, ‘Becks is the spokesperson for Go3 (fish oil pills)- he even appears on the box - so he has to take it despite the consequences. ‘And he really believes in the product. He says it gives him more energy.’

A failed denim line and now a husband with fish breath? Good grief…could life get any WORSE for Posh Spice?

Maybe this calls for a mouth wash or breath mint endorsement for Becks?

Hundreds came out to see the unveiling of David Beckham in his tightey-whiteys last week. You can bet that if I was in the area, I surely would have been there too! Yum!

Becks is just one of those like-able guys. What WE love about Becks even more is his modesty.

Writing on his blog this week, Beckham said: ‘Well I’m sure you’ve seen the pictures…To be honest I was amazed by the huge billboard poster outside Macy’s department store, but even more amazed by the amount of people who turned up to see it.

I’m always surprised by the amount of attention certain things create, but the attention this campaign has created is pretty incredible.”

Now, despite rumors of a digitally enhanced or padded “package”, a spokesperson for David said, “There wasn’t any enhancement to that said region.”

I will say this again, Thank God for Emporio Armani.

Imagine driving down Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills and pulling up alongside this beautiful sight. Yummy, yummy. David Beckham and his youngest two boys took Posh’s Phantom Drophead Coupe for a spin yesterday. (What?! You KNOW Posh wears the pants in that relationship. It’s HER coupe!) Anyways, Becks sure knows how to turn some heads and even had a female driver next to them smiling and drooling.

And, you wonder why there are so many accidents in California! Just another day in the life of David Beckham.

LAST NIGHT at a Lakers game.

Last night, the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala presented “Superheroes: Fashion And Fantasy”. And, let me tell you, it WAS a who’s who event in NYC. From Naomi Watts to Tom Cruise to Jennifer Lopez and Scarlett Johansson, the celebs were out in full force!

As you can see hot stud David Beckham made it out to the event looking as yummy as ever…however, it kind of looks like Posh may have been abducted by aliens and returned back to earth in the form of an aged mannequin.  For once, girlfriend looks HORRIBLE!

He hasn’t led his LA Galaxies team to any major wins yet…but multi-million dollar contracted David Beckham continues to enjoy the movie-star lifestyle in the States.

David spends some Q-time with his two sons at yet another LA Lakers game.  Maybe growing out the beard will give Becks some extra luck for his game play.  Or not.
