The Black Eyed Peas took a little bit of a break for Fergie Ferg to get all Fergalicious on us, but the Los Angeles based hip hop group are ready to get the party started once again. March of this coming year, you can expect a brand spankin’ new album for the Peas…woot, woot!…but let me be clear. This isn’t going to be JUST your average conventional album.

Will.I.AM sat down with Billboard to dish on the new plethora of jams, calling ‘The End’ more of a “music diary”. “I’m trying to break away from the concept of an album. What is an album when you put 12 songs on iTunes and people can pick at it like scabs? That’s not an album. There is no album anymore.”

Following their spring release, you can count on a summer tour with the Peas coming to a city near you!

Good Morning America was all about the birthday Cheeto this morning! And I must say…it’s about freakin’ time someone pays attention to Brit Brit. She hardly gets enough, damnit!

Just when I thought I’d buy tickets to see the Rascal Flatts, I need to seriously reconsider. I just logged into my myspace account and the first thing I see is one of Jessica’s 10 fans promoting this news in a bulletin. I about choked on my diet coke.

Breaking News! Jessica Simpson to tour with Rascal Flatts

Multi-platinum selling group Rascal Flatts announced plans today to continue their sold-out “Bob That Head Tour” into 2009. The 2008 leg will wrap up November 2, after a two-day play in Uncasville, Connecticut at Mohegan Sun. “Bob That Head Tour” winter 2009 dates will launch in mid-January and will run with approximately 25 shows. Dates, cities and on-sales will be announced later this fall. Epic/Columbia Nashville’s Jessica Simpson will open the 2009 “Bob That Head Tour” shows.

Jessica Simpson grew up with a mix of musical influences, and while it was her multi-Platinum pop success that introduced her to countless fans, it was country music where she found her heart. The release of her Epic/Columbia Nashville debut country album, Do You Know, was met with a resounding cheer, debuting at 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and launching Jessica’s first country hit, “Come on Over.” It’s one of eight songs she co-wrote for the album, which also includes her new single, “Remember That,” and the title track, featuring friend and hero, Dolly Parton. Acknowledging her roots as a country girl, Jessica has said, “I took the long way around to get back to where I came from,” but with Do You Know, she’s truly found her home.”

I don’t give a crap what anyone says…Pink is hot. She knows it too. Pink’s VMA performance gave us all more than what we bargained for…a slipple of the zipple. However, it HAD to have been inevitable, especially considering Pink strategically placed black-taped “X”‘es over her ta-tas. And so what…Pink can get away with that. An old beotch like Janet Jackson? Not so much.

On October 28th you can run to your nearest music store and pick up Pink’s new album titled “Funhouse”. I will be. In fact, I’m gonna pre-order that shiz!

I’m just WAITING for something scandalous to come out about Taylor Swift. This girl is TOO perfect. And, nobody in the celebrity world is perfect…the skeletons are hiding away in that closet and I know they are dying to come out.

Anywhos….Taylor has been a busy young lady touring, burning up the charts and surprise guest-ing it up at Jonas Brothers shows. Just yesterday Taylor Swift teamed up with Kevin Jonas as they filmed segments for the new Jonas Brothers video to accompany their album A Little Bit Longer’s second single.

So, it might not be a national holiday, but it may as well be. As the Jonas Brothers release their SECOND album, today was a huge day of promotions for the boys. And, I kind of feel like an uber-geek to say this, but, I am kind of digging these guys. I admit it, okay?! (Perhaps it is the Nick Carter/Aaron Carter-esque sound Nick Jonas has that turns my crank? Eh. Who knows.)

According to a source, Hundreds of Jonas Brothers fans mobbed the Apple Store in Soho tonight (Tuesday) night to watch the trio celebrate new disc “A Little Bit Longer” by recording an EP for iTunes’ Live From Soho series.

By the time Apple’s website announced the surprise same-day appearance by Kevin, Joe and Nick, a crowd of 100 had already set up camp.

Ummm, hello?! Jonas fans KNOW everything. In fact, I am sure some of them were still camped out from earlier in the week. (There are some HARDCORE JoBros fans out there, let me tell ya!)

ScarJo and her fiance Ryan Reynolds spent some nauseating lovey-dovey time in Malibu which included a little big of hog-riding, shopping, and smooching time….

Scarlett may have the best cho-chas in Hollywood, but that doesn’t mean she makes the best decisions! Oh no, sirrie my lovelies! We all know her debut album FLOPPED hardcore and it wasn’t due to her poor choice of artist to cover. “Anywhere I Lay My Head,” a collection of Tom Waits covers, debuted in May and SUCKED. BADLY.

Scarlett told a source, “It was fantastic to do that album. Not only live with that music that I love everyday, but I just worked with such wonderful musicians who are so talented.”

Ok, that is all fine and dandy, but…you can’t expect those “wonderful musicians” to carry you, my dear.

The REALLY bad news here is that Scarlett is attempting album NUMBER TWO. Yep. Not sure whose REAL idea that was. It was probably Ryan’s. He probably told her she really sounded GOOD! Pfft.

Let’s be honest here…perhaps sticking to something we are half ways decent at would be a better idea?

Lenny Kravitz has gotten himself a new jobby job as front man of controversial group Velvet Revolver. Yeppers, peeps…Scott Weiland who got the boot has been replaced. FINALLY.

A source said: “Velvet Revolver’s new album will draw heavily on their messy split with Scott. “The band wanted a big name who could easily hold his own and reckon Lenny is just the man for the job.”

Lenny Kravitz is the shiznit. Perhaps this will be a good change for him? What do you think?

Pink films a scene for her new video “So What”.

After a divorce from her now-ex Cary Hart, Pink (Alecia Moore) has a lot to sing about. And amidst rumors that Pink would be getting back together with her ex, Pink confirms that they won’t be joining forces anytime soon, however they still remain close friends. Since the divorce, Pink has been holed up in a studio working on her next album which is set to release October 28th.

Woohoo! I’m super pumped…I *heart* Pink.

Sheryl Crow and her little 15-month-old adopted son Wyatt spent some quality time in the Big Apple. What a little sweetie pie!

Sheryl is currently on tour but taking time to play mamasita. Oh…and those rumors of hooking up with Fleetwood Mac on tour are just that…RUMORS.

Sheryl told a source, “I think their next album may be while I’m on the road. Hopefully in the future we’ll have some kind of collaboration, but not at this time.”

Bam! No two for the price of one this time around, peeps! I know, I know. You’re sad.
