Patrick Swayze Takes A Turn For The Worse.

Just days after his interview with Babwa Wah-Wah, Patrick Swayze’s health and fight with cancer has taken a turn for the worse. Patrick was scheduled to appear at a meeting for the Television Critics Association to discuss his upcoming drama “The Beast.” Instead, the Dirty Dancing supastar is in the hospital with a bout of pneumonia.

“Patrick has asked that I tell you that this morning he checked himself into the hospital for observation,” said A&E Vice President Robert DeBitetto. “Chemotherapy can take its toll on the immune system, and illnesses are a part of that. Patrick wishes me to tell you that he’s very sorry he cannot attend, but plans to get back to promoting `The Beast’ soon.”

Dammit. This sucks. All I can think of when I hear this news is how ironic this role of the “Beast” is for Patrick. He’s fighting a wicked beast…this cancer…that has ultimately consumed his life and changed everything about it. I hope he can recover from this bout of pneumonia. Our thoughts and prayers are with Patrick and his family.

Be strong, my friend!

His family stated that Michael had been privately battling cancer. So so sad.

“Through his books, Michael Crichton served as an inspiration to students of all ages, challenged scientists in many fields, and illuminated the mysteries of the world in a way we could all understand,” his family said in a statement.

RIP Michael. Our thoughts and prayers are with Michael’s family, friends, and fans.

Christina Applegate isn’t going to let cancer get her down. Oh, no! She may have just gone through a double mastectomy, but Miss Applegate isn’t moping around. Christina spent yesterday at a Los Angeles nail salon getting her nails did. Take that cancer! Next up for Christina? Reconstructive surgery.

She told a source, ‘I’m going to have cute boobs ’til I’m 90, so there’s that. I’ll have the best boobs in the nursing home. I’ll be the envy of all the ladies around the bridge table.’

Now that’s what I call a good attitude! You go girl!
