Carrie Underwood recently told Allure magazine that her ex Tony Romo still calls her occasionally. Carrie was quoted as saying, “The phone will ring and it’ll be him, and I’ll maybe not answer.” Hmmm, late night chit chats? Coffee talk? Why, oh why would Tony possibly call Carrie? Pfffft. Surprised? I’m not.

But, ‘no way, Jose’ is what Jessica Simpson is saying.
In an interview with a Nashville radio station, Simpson attempted to put those rumors to rest, once and for all!

“Tony and I both laughed at that,” Jessica told the Woody and Jim show. “Yeah, we got a chuckle out of it.” The actress-singer then joked that she even “looked at his call log” just to make sure, before adding, “I’m kidding! I’m not that girl!” Mmmhmmm. Sure you aren’t, Jessica!

Let’s not forget…she’s THAT girl who thought Chicken of The Sea was really chicken.

The only reason why Tony is laughing is because he is doing a good job hiding the truth!

The ex-girlfriend Verne Troyer is speaking out saying that Mini-Me isn’t an innocent man. Their six-month relationship went sour when Verne cheated on sex tape co-star Renae Shrider.

Renae Shrider told a source, “He cheated on me a bunch of times. I never once cheated on him. I took our relationship seriously. This was the first guy I have ever lived with.”

Snippets of a freaky-deaky Mini-Me lovin’ sex tape showed up on TMZ.com and were then taken down as Mini-Me threatened with a $20 million lawsuit.

The truth is, Renae Shrider may have (*cough DID cough*) leak(ed) the tape herself as the tape was recorded on HER camera.

Now that country is “cool” thanks to peeps like Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood, Jessica Simpson is ready to make country her home. Don’t expect Jess to be in Carrie Underwood’s league as of yet, but…expect a strong entrance.

According to Billboard, Simpson’s first single, “Come on Over,” makes a historic debut at No. 41 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart this week. Columbia Nashville VP of promotion Jimmy Rector says radio is responding positively to the single. “More than anything, people are pleasantly surprised. A lot of people didn’t want to like it, but when they heard it, regardless of pre-conceived notions, they realized this is a really good record.”

One unnamed programmer went as far as to tell Rector, “‘God help me, I really like this song.’ That’s the reality of what we were facing,” Rector says.

She may be entering in with a decent song, but will it be enough for her to be accepted into the country genre? All I know is girlfriend better saddle up and not try to turn this into some skank-fest. Country music is about drinking beer, driving a pickup truck and honky-tonking…not all makeup and hoochie-ness.

What an unlikely combination of characters…and no, it’s not what you are thinking….Carrie Underwood and Fifty Cent aren’t just spending time together for the heck of it.  Instead they have teamed up together for a new ad campaign for Vitamin Water.

Of course, Carrie would be a great fit for this campaign.   Carrie’s had an amazing year and has been in the spotlight not only for her musical talent, but her recent relationships with Tony Romo and Gossip Girls’ Chace Crawford.

Bring in that money girl!

It is a dream for any aspiring country singer to be able to perform on the Grand Ole Opry stage. But, to be included in the “in-crowd” is something even more spectacular.

Carrie Underwood was surprised tonight by one member of the “in-crowd”, Randy Travis. Randy invited the blonde belter to join the rest of the cool people and become an official member of the Grand Ole Opry. Of course she said YES!

Other official members include Garth Brooks, Reba McIntyre, Josh Turner and Dolly Parton, to name a few.

And to think, only a couple years ago, she was only a number.
