After twenty years later of being in the industry, Claudia Schiffer has been chosen as the face of Chanelâ€™s Autumn/Winter collection. You go girl!

Are the times a-changing in the modeling industry? Some say the younger models may have a tougher time making it real big as Claudia and her fellow veterans like Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, and Heidi Klum have.

Claudia agrees, “Itâ€™s extremely difficult for them to make a name for themselves today.
â€˜Supermodels have been around since the early Nineties and until the new wave comes along itâ€™s going to be very difficult for anyone else to make it big.”

Emma Watson Lands $6 Million Deal.

Emma Watson has just signed on to be the face of Coco Mademoiselle perfume by Chanel.Â The Harry Potter star already has raked in millions for her work as Hermoine in the Harry Potter movies. Â This Chanel gig will get her $6 million more in her bank account.Â Like this girl NEEDS anymore money?

Eighteen-year-old Emma will take over for Keira Knightley, whose contract with Chanel ends this summer.

Michelle Williams Makes Cannes.

Michelle Williams, Heath Ledger’s baby mama, made her first red carpet appearance since Heath Ledger’s tragic death back in January. It was a last minute decision for Michelle, but she graced the red carpet at Cannes in France in celebration of two films she worked on for the festival.

According to a source, “It was decided on Monday night that she could come to Cannes, and she got on the next plane to arrive just in time to get dressed and come to our premiere,” said a rep for Wendy and Lucy. “She came in and had a long nap and then came to the screening.”

Williams, 27, was radiant in a vintage Chanel Haute Couture dress. She will remain in Cannes at least through Friday night to promote another festival movie in which she appears, Synecdoche, New York, before flying back to the United States to resume filming a Martin Scorsese movie in Boston.

Michelle looks gorgeous and it looks like she is holding up well. Good for her!

Yay or Nay?

Anna Kournikova showed up to the CHANEL 2008/09 Cruise Show at The Raleigh Hotel looking lean and fit! It is good to see her out in public again.

It seems her and her hero Enrique are always in hiding in the winter time. Then come spring, they come out to flaunt their hot bods! I think they do it on purpose too, just to spite us. Damn them!
