Papa Joe must be thinking that some more of Jessica’s stink would do well in a market already sick of Jessica Simpson. But, he could be right. It is the holiday season and peeps are looking for gifts for that special someone. However, I’m not so sure “Fancy” is what I would have called this concoction. The Simpson clan should have hired me for their scent name inventor. I can think of a few very clever names that would best suit Jessica Simpson’s style: Washed-Up Hoo Hah, Twangy Tuna, Totally Daisy or Desperation. What do ya think?

Anywho, Jessica spent her time in Chicago promoting her new scent and is just waiting ever so patiently for her tour with Rascal Flatts that starts in January.

“I can’t wait to be a part of their show and let everyone know that I do actually sing and I’m not just in tabloids,” Jessica told a source.

We can’t wait either. Uh, yeah.

“Jennifer Hudson’s estranged brother-in-law, William Balfour, was arrested Monday in the slayings of the Oscar winner’s mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew, according to Chicago police.” FINALLY! Details about what evidence led police to charge Balfour for the shooting deaths have not yet been released.

“In the wake of her family tragedy, Jennifer Hudson has received a helping hand from a very unlikely source — Donald Trump. Hudson and some of her family members have been staying at the Trump International Hotel & Tower in Chicago, and Trump has been picking up the tab. ‘They are safe,’ Trump told People on Monday night. ‘She’s a great girl and we’re protecting them well.’” Good to see the Don and his toupee reaching out to lend a helping hand. Big Kudos to Donny!

Will.I.Am debuted his new patriotic video Friday on Oprah.

According to the AP,

While the Grammy-winning artist performed the song at the Chicago studio, a video featuring photos of Obama, his family, Winfrey and the Rev. Jesse Jackson from Chicago’s Election Night rally played on a giant screen behind him. The video also shows black and white photographs of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and Harriet Tubman.

LET’S HOPE JUSTICE PREVAILS…”Monday morning could be absolutely huge in the Hudson family murder case — the cops’ only suspect, William Balfour, could walk out of jail a free man. Law enforcement sources tell TMZthat Balfour, who’s only being held on a parole violation in a case unrelated to the murders, could “conceivably” skate if there’s not enough evidence to prove he did violate his parole.”

“The convicted felon suspected in the slayings of actress-singer Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother and nephew told police he is innocent but balked at taking a lie-detector test, a police official said.” If you are innocent, what do you have to lose right? Fishy, fish, fish…do you smell that?

“The case is building quickly against William Balfour, the man police sources have pinpointed as the primary suspect in the murder of Jennifer Hudson’s family. More details are emerging: The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting Balfour’s girlfriend — whose house he was arrested at — has contradicted Balfour’s alibi and cops have caught him in at least one other lie.”

It is never entertaining to write about a tragedy and it is even more painful to write about an event that involves the loss of lives. It hasn’t been an easy week for Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson and her family. I am sure by now you have all heard what happened in Chicago to the family of Jennifer Hudson. And despite that there isn’t a whole lot of information that I can add to much of the news you may have already seen on the boob tube or online, I can however, share with you what Julia Hudson (Jennifer’s sister) has posted on her Myspace page. Forty-two year old Cindy Crawford shows that she still has “it”.

What is “it”, you ask?

Well…”It” is “it”. “It” represents beauty, fashion sense, heart, confidence, sexiness, charm and career longevity, mixed up and thrown into a big stew pot….kind of like Tom’s placenta stew. Although, “it” is much tastier than Tom’s concoction. “It” doesn’t leave a bad taste in your mouth. Do you get “it”?

Anystew, this last week, “it”-girl Cindy Crawford hosted a launch party for the Michigan Avenue Magazine at the James Hotel in Chicago.

How fabulous does Cindy look after TWO kids and at age 42? Ummm…yeah, she sucks too! She definitely gives the younger models a run for their money. Wowsers!

Johnny Depp can do no wrong in my eyes. He continues to show that he is the king of appreciation.
Even though he has money coming out of his ears and eyes and his feet, Johnny does not hesitate to spread the wealth.

The busy actor just finished up shooting his latest film calledPublic Enemies. At the wrap party it was all about showing his cast and crew a good time. Johnny not only entertained a 50-person party at the Chicago’s Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse, but he also picked up the tab AND left a sweet tip for the server. That is something Johnny didn’t have to do, but it just goes to show that there are still celebs out there who aren’t divas!

Gawd, I love this man. Divas, and you KNOW who you are (I don’t have to say names, do I *cough* Beyonce, ummm *cough* JLo)….take notes!
