The 2nd hottest event for musicians, the American Music Awards, are underway in the sunshine state of Cali. But, really who cares about the trophies, besides Kanye West…it’s all about the fashion AND the performances.
This year is a tad different as the fans…yes, the American public, choose the winners. It’s about freakin’ time. Now, who chooses the celebs’ ensembles is a whole ‘nother story. WTF is up with Alicia Keys and the dangling necklace spewing from the roots of her melon?

Caked on tranny make-up. Ten gallons of peroxide. Strobe-light hoochie-cooing cleavage, booty shorts…nothing really new here peeps, other than the Dancing Diddy. No, seriously.
She may have just had a rug rat nine months ago, but that isn’t going to make Christina tone down her image from the Dirrrty era THAT much.
We aren’t asking for mom jeans, but we do wish she’d tone the makeup down JUST a tad though.
Xtina’s new album is set to be released in November and will be a greatest hits compilation, including two BRAND SPANKIN’ new tracks titled “Keeps Gettin’ Better” and “Dynamite”.
Celebrities are doing their part in this year’s very critical election by participating in the “Declare Yourself” ad campaign. The campaign’s platform is said to “shock” young voters and hopefully inspire them to get informed and vote.
Marc Morgenstern, executive director of the Declare Yourself campaign, explained: “These images, while incredibly unsettling, are extremely compelling to today’s young adults. With less than 40 days left until the national election, we deliberately chose vivid and startling imagery to break through and underscore the grave consequences of not voting and in effect muzzling oneself.”
Basically, vote or don’t bitch about the outcome.
So, the question is…so these ads “inspire” you to get off your duff and vote?
Just as Britney is making her comeback into the music scene, along struts Christina Aguilera also gearing up for a brand new album release. Don’t you almost feel like it’s 1999? I kind of like it.
Christina told a source that because she is a mother and a wife she feels sexier. Apparently so does dressing like a $5 hooker and caking on 80 layers of makeup. But, whatever floats her Mary Kay boat.
Anybrightpinklipstick, Christina is busy promoting her new single “Keeps Gettin’ Better” that will be featured on her Keeps Gettin’ Better – A Decade of Hits album to be released November 11th. I’ll be buying it.
She may be looking more and more like Bozo the Clown these days or could even pass for Donatella Versace’s younger sister, but Christina Aguilera still has “it”.
This week Christina has been busy promoting her new perfume called “Inspire”. Not quite sure what she means by “inspire”…gawd knows I am not inspired by her fashion sense. Yikes!
Enough ripping on Christina…for all you fans of her voice, Christina will be releasing an exclusive album through Tar-jay. “Keeps Gettin’ Better—A Decade of Hits” will feature a pair of new songs, “Dynamite” and the title track, plus re-recorded versions of her prior hits “Genie in a Bottle” and “Beautiful.”
The album is set to release November 11th. What a nice Christmas gift this album would make!
Xtina spent part of her weekend working for Donald Trump. Imagine that!
According to a source, Donald Trump invited Christina to perform at a party that took place at a massive private estate in Bel-Air just off of Sunset Boulevard. You know, one of those hotel promotional events…blah. But, Xtina graced the guests with her presence.
Christina showed up in this black dress, which of course is your typical Christina-wear. Matronly? Not so much.
Even though a life-changing event just occurred in the life of one of America’s greatest songbird’s life, Christina Aguilera is still high maintenance. You’d think when Aggy became a mother, she would have threw out the eyeliner and the bright shades of lipstick. However, some things never change. Xtina’s lipstick is like an American Express card…she never leaves home without it.
Christina has lent her beautiful painted canvas to that of Macy’s. Macy’s is celebrating its 150 years of retailing this October and Christina is all for celebrating with the retailing giant. Christina has been photographed in a couple ads for Macy’s and her makeup couldn’t have been caked on anymore. I hope she has a good makeup remover. She must spend HOURS removing the layers of makeup painted on her face.
