The Dark Knight Reigns Again.

After FOUR weeks in a row, the Dark Knight reigns supreme pulling in another $26.1 million this last weekend. This brings the total ticket sales to a WHOPPING $441.6 million dollars!

It is rumored that after this next weekend’s sales, the Dark Knight will surpass “Star Wars” in second place for all-time ticket sales. DAMN, right?!

Here are the the ticket sales for the weekend:

1. Dark Knight, $26.1 Mil
2. Pineapple Express, $23.2 Mil
3. The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, $16.5 Mil
4. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, $10.7 Mil
5. Step Brothers, $9.1 Mil

Heath Ledger’s Family Attend Dark Knight Premiere In NYC.

Last night was an emotional night for Heath Ledger’s family and friends.

According to a source, Ledgerâ€™s family - his father Kim, sister Kate and mother Sally Bell and stepmother Ines - all attended the New York opening of The Dark Knight…along with Heath’s long-time ex-girlfriend actress Naomi Watts.

The Dark Knight, in which Heath plays the Joker, is Heath’s final movie he was able to film in its entirety.

Rumors of a posthumous Oscar nomination are flying around Hollywood as Heath’s Joker portrayal is phenomenal.

The Dark Knight opens in theaters THIS Friday. (Michelle Williams, Heath’s baby mama, did not attend the premiere.)

RIP Heath.

Yay Or Nay: Maggie Gyllenhaal

Tonight was the NYC premiere of the Dark Knight. I cannot WAIT to see this film, BTW. But, HELLO…premieres and red carpet (black carpet in this case)=fashion time!

Maggie G, Jake Gyllenhaal’s sistah, strolled the red carpet tonight in this strapless gown. I must admit, girlfriend is lookin’ good!
