“I Stay In Love” features Mariah’s amazing voice, butterflies, shameless fragrance promotion and a hot man who was pretty damn close to getting his butt kicked by professional director Nick Cannon.

Mariah And Nick To Take Over Sin City.

It seems Mariah and Nick will be spending quite a bit of time in Vegas starting with this weekend.

According to a source, Mariah is heading to Las Vegas this weekend to shoot the video for her new single “I Stay In Love” from her platinum selling album E=MCÂ². The video will be directed by Nick Cannon, from a story line that was written by Mariah and Nick. Stay tuned for this video which is guaranteed to feature some of what a fabulous city like Vegas has to offerâ€¦amazing nightclubs, the stunning but treacherous desert, hot cars and of course beautiful people.
So remember what happens in Vegas doesnâ€™t always stay in Vegas it could also end up in a Mariah Carey video!

In addition, Mariah will be hosting a party at The Bank nightclub inside the Bellagio hotel and casino TOMORROW night.

On Tuesday night, Mariah will be hosting Nick’s birthday party at PURE Nightclub which is also in Vegas.

I hope Sin City is ready for MC and Nick to take over town for the next few days!

Nick Cannon-Inspired Fragrance?

It is no doubt that Mariah Carey has had a very successful year with her new album E=MC squared. Plus, girlfriend lost a ton of weight by not completing starving herself. Heck, she even married her dream man, Nick Cannon.

So, what would the OBVIOUS next step be? Umm…HELLO, making a new fragrance, of course!!!

Mariah will launch her second fragrance called “Luscious Pink” in August.

Earlier this week, Mariah told a source, “This scent is feminine, flirtatious and fun, and truly reflects where I am in my life now, after an incredible year.”

Basically it will smell like rollercoasters, expensive wedding gifts, gym sweat, and corn flakes.

The Cannons Want Some Presents!

So, you weren’t invited to Mariah’s wedding? Yeah, neither was I. Neither were 100’s of her rich friends. But, do NOT fear! You can STILL buy Mariah and Nick a wedding gift.

According to an insider, “Mariah’s assistant, Gina, sent out over 100 e-mails to her wealthy friends letting them know that she’s registered at Bergdorf Goodman if they want to buy her a present. It’s odd because she’s not even having a big wedding party or anything. It was assumed they’d have a big celebration when they got back, but no. They just want the gifts.”

On the list are “fine china, very expensive silver stemware” and other items. Carey’s rep declined to comment.

Isn’t this a tad bit tacky? Like Mariah NEEDS anything. Oh how I HOPE this rumor isn’t true. I’m still trying to swallow the fact that they are even married.

Mariah Pregnant?

It was a whirlwind of a wedding with Mariah and Nick Cannon only dating a couple months before tying the knot just a couple weeks ago.Â And, now is she pregnant?

It was rumored that Mariah and Nick wanted to start a family, but perhaps they got started a little early? Maybe it’s the lighting, but girlfriend looks like she has a little paunch. Or perhaps she just got done eating some fried chicken.Â In any case, we’ve got our eyes on that belly.

Mariah is in Japan for the Japan MTV Video Music Awards. She picked up the award for MTV Video Vanguard Award. (The award is given to musicians who have had a profound effect on the MTV culture.) I’m sure Nicky was along for the ride and to furnish some canoodling for the superstar diva.

Mariah Lights Up The Empire.

Literally.Â This weekend, if you are in NYC and you see pink, lavender and white lights radiating from the Empire State Building, you aren’t hallucinating.

In celebration of Mariah’s E=MC2 number one album debut and first week album sales over 462,000, Mariah was given the honor of lighting up the Empire State Building with her favorite colors.

Pretty. Damn. Cool.

According to Billboard, Mariah Carey is right on target for E=MC2 to be a number one album debut.Â It has been reported that as of today 154,000 units have been sold so far and by the end of the week, it is expected the sultry songbird will sell 500,000+units.Â A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.
Fun fact:Â 2005’s Emancipation of Mimi debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 404,000 copies.

Woohoo!Â Yay for Mama Carey.Â This is great news for lambs worldwide.
