Eh…not really. But, we’ll let him think that. But, wait one hot minute…I thought Kanye was King…or I should say WANTS TO BE KING. Ha! I’d love to see a Kanye-Diddy show down in the middle of Times Square…a little duking out for the King title would totally make my day. However, I have strong reason to believe that Kanye is more talk than action.

As ‘Ye’s new album 808 and Heartbreak receives horrible reviews, Diddy has taken over Times Square in New York City with an image of himself…which is also said to be the LARGEST to ever hang there. (Excuse me while I gag myself.)

In a statement, Combs said: “I am really proud of the new billboard and of the message that it conveys to everyone who gets to see it.”

The billboard isn’t promoting the fact that Diddy thinks that he really is the King, but rather his new fragrance that is referred to as “I Am King”.

So what does “I Am King” smell like? The description states, “An untraditional fresh fruity woody scent, I Am King combines clean notes with sensual fruits and warm skin nuances. Impossible to ignore, I Am King subtly surrounds the wearer in fresh comfort and attracts women to encounter its power.”

So, basically, it smells like douche-ness. I’m sure Aubrey O’Day would agree.

Kanye West attended the American Music Awards looking chilled out to the maximum, prompting me to assume a couple Xanax may have been popped. Kanye did end up winning his first American Music Award for favorite rap/hip-hop album category for his CD “Graduation AND best hip/hop artist. So, Big Kudos to ‘Ye. And hey, he didn’t complain about winning either…too much. Instead, his first acceptance speech included the following magical words:

“I’d like to thank everybody who accepted me trying to break new boundaries in music.”

“It’s our responsibility as musicians to keep pushing each other, to keep competing with each other. It’s a really great competition,” he told the audience. “I see artists like Beyonce and Alicia Keys and Rihanna and Chris Brown and Chris Martin all in the same room and we’re going to push this music to the point where it was like in the 1960s and ’70s where you talk about Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix and the Beatles. We will be the new Beatles. We will be the new Hendrix. They say in any other industry, you know, you’re supposed to do better than the past … but when you say, ‘I want to be Elvis,’ they say, ‘What’s wrong with you?’ Well, I wanna be Elvis.”

When Mel B. and her hubby Stephen Belafonte landed in the UK yesterday, they got a little more than they bargained for. Sure, you have the paparazzi awaiting your arrival and sometimes the looney tunes show up. And, sometimes the paparazzi are the good guys…or at least in this case they were.

There seemed to be a war of words between a 22-year-old male giving a female paparazzo a bad time. This prompted Mr. Belafonte to step in. Once Belafonte threw in his two cents, all hell broke loose.

An onlooker described the man as “going crazy “, according to TMZ, before screaming: “I’ll get a knife and stab you.” Yikes!

An airport spokeswoman said today: “It is alleged a man approached a man and a woman and was abusive. The 22-year-old was arrested for threatening behavior.”

Mel’s spokeswoman confirmed the singer’s film director husband felt compelled to act after he saw the man giving the photographers a hard time.

Gotta give props to a celeb that understands that paparazzi are only doing their job! Take note, Kanye.

Yesterday was a crazy day for Kanye West, getting arrested and all. However, he was bailed and is once again among the living public. We were hoping to wake up and find a long rant from his blog page, however, no such luck. HOWEVER, he did post this:

I can’t wait to see it. Will he smile a cheesy grin or fashionably Vogue pose for his mugshot? Or will Kanye attempt to grab the camera from the booker and smash that too?

Today Kanye must have been having a bad day and decided to take his anger out on an innocent photographer who just wanted a still photo. Besides, isn’t getting your picture taken something Mr. West should be used to? You would think so, but today Kanye wasn’t having any part of it. OH NO HE WASN’T! In fact it all ended with Kanye getting arrested.

It all went down at the American Airlines terminal at LAX airport as Kanye was getting ready to board a flight when a still photographer was snap snap snapping away. Kanye apparently wasn’t feel sexy today, so he went on a rampage.

According to TMZ.com, Kanye allegedly confronted the photog and smashed his camera to the ground.

There was then a wrestling match that ensued as TMZ’s camera dude told Kanye that he had been videotaping the scene. Kanye’s bodyguard then grabbed the camera and threw the video camera to the ground, breaking it.

When Kanye realized the TMZ camera dude had videotaped the incident, he rushed the guy and yelled, “Gimme that f**king tape!”

This is totally reminding us of Naomi Campbell. I can’t wait to see what Kanye says on his blog after he gets out of jail! It’s not going to be pretty!

Britney’s supposed comeback didn’t include a much-anticipated surprise performance. It didn’t include a shocking kiss or a dance with a boa constrictor. Instead, Britney’s “opening” included four sentences said with extreme nervousness.

‘Thank you so much. Thank you for all the love. I’m here tonight to celebrate a very important birthday, the 25th anniversary of the VMAs. This is the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards and it starts right now.’

And, I suppose you could call Britney winning the first three moon men of her career a “comeback” as well. Britney won all three moon men for her video “Piece Of Me”.

Her acceptance speeches were definitely rehearsed as all three times she basically said the exact same thing….short and sweet, to the point.

‘Wow, thank you, I’m in shock right now. I was not expecting this,’ she said at the end of the night as she accepted the statue for video of the year.

‘This is such an honor to have this award right now.’

Brit Brit politely thanked God, her children and her record label before quickly leaving the stage.

I’m not so sure Britney deserved THREE moon men for “Piece Of Me”. I mean the video isn’t any better than her other videos. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that these were “fixed” wins…pity votes. Call me crazy, but I STILL think she should have performed.

Rumors were started by Taio Cruz, a British producer, that Kanye was going to be ONE of a few top producers lined up to participate in TAKE TWO of Britney’s comeback. I almost choked on my diet coke when I read that.

However, Kanye wants us ALL to know that this is yet ANOTHER false rumor.
