Rachel Bilson Gets All “Edie Rose” On Us.

Best known as Summer Roberts on former hit show, The OC, Rachel Bilson launched her own clothing line yesterday at Macy’s in NYC. Yes…yet ANOTHER celebrity clothing line. Everyone else is doing it, so why can’t she, right? Blah.

Rachel worked closely with Donna Karan to create a collection called â€œEdie Roseâ€, targeting teenagers worldwide. The collection is available online or in department stores like Macy’s, Lord and Taylor, and Nordstrom. The prices won’t drain your bank account, with most items priced under $60.

In other Bilson news, Rachel sat down with InStyle UK to dish on style, her love life, and her career as an actress. Here are some snippets:

Rachel on being a star:

â€œI hate the attention, which is sort of funny as Iâ€™m an actress.â€

Rachel on her style:

â€œI donâ€™t usually wear expensive thingsâ€¦its crazy your like $1,400 for shoes? I wait for the sale.â€

Rachel on Victoria Beckham:

â€œI respect anyone who really does her own thing. It takes a lot of energy and skill to pull that off. And I love that she doesnâ€™t give a f*ck!â€

Rachel on meeting Karl Lagerfeld:
â€œIt was so surreal, like meeting the pope or the president or a cartoon. Heâ€™s fantastic.â€

Rachel on being Maid of Honor for her best friend:

â€œYou donâ€™t understand. Iâ€™m freaking out. The groom is a writer! I have to be funny!â€

Rachel on marriage and children:

â€œI donâ€™t need to get married right now. Iâ€™m more ready for a baby than marriage, not really tomorrow but definitely in the next couple of years, which is the pretty near future. You have to have the guy, you know.â€

Rachel on her character Summer Roberts in the OC:

â€œI wasnâ€™t supposed to be anything really, they just decided I was funny.â€

Rachel on dating actors:

â€œYou canâ€™t help it, theyâ€™re who you surround your self with.â€

Rachel on Hayden Christensen:

â€œHayden is a guyâ€™s guy. Tractors and such. Iâ€™m learning to play chess. A certain someone happens to be very good and I donâ€™t think I will ever accomplish beating that person. But that is the goal.â€

Xtina Still Cakes On The Makeup.

Even though a life-changing event just occurred in the life of one of America’s greatest songbird’s life, Christina Aguilera is still high maintenance. You’d think when Aggy became a mother, she would have threw out the eyeliner and the bright shades of lipstick. However, some things never change. Xtina’s lipstick is like an American Express card…she never leaves home without it.

Christina has lent her beautiful painted canvas to that of Macy’s. Macy’s is celebrating its 150 years of retailing this October and Christina is all for celebrating with the retailing giant. Christina has been photographed in a couple ads for Macy’s and her makeup couldn’t have been caked on anymore. I hope she has a good makeup remover. She must spend HOURS removing the layers of makeup painted on her face.

Don’t Question David Beckham’s Package!

Hundreds came out to see the unveiling of David Beckham in his tightey-whiteys last week. You can bet that if I was in the area, I surely would have been there too! Yum!

Becks is just one of those like-able guys. What WE love about Becks even more is his modesty.

Writing on his blog this week, Beckham said: ‘Well Iâ€™m sure youâ€™ve seen the pictures…To be honest I was amazed by the huge billboard poster outside Macyâ€™s department store, but even more amazed by the amount of people who turned up to see it.

Iâ€™m always surprised by the amount of attention certain things create, but the attention this campaign has created is pretty incredible.”

Now, despite rumors of a digitally enhanced or padded “package”, a spokesperson for David said, “There wasn’t any enhancement to that said region.”

I will say this again, Thank God for Emporio Armani.

Uno may have won Best in Show at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, but now it seems he is making live appearances too. Today Uno was at Macy’s in New York flaunting what his mama gave him.
