Yes, bitches. Bob Dylan is still alive and kickin AND still rockin’. The latter is still the most important, dahlings. In fact for those of you Dylan fans, you best attempt to get your invite to the White House on February 10th or well…settle for second best, your boob tube. Dylan is coming!
Bob Dylan’s White House performance will take place on February 10th as part of Black History Month. If you remember back in 1963, Dylan sang on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial the day of Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech.
He’ll be joined by Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson, Natalie Cole, John Legend, John Mellencamp, Seal, The Blind Boys of Alabama and The Howard U Choir for an evening of songs from the civil rights movement.
This special will be on PBS on February 11th in case you didn’t know.
