Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie strolled in on the Golden Globes 2012 red carpet looking classier than ever. Dare I say, Jolie was one of the best dressed women of the evening. And let me tell you, it was refreshing to see her not dressed in black.
While many people are trashing Jolie’s cream and red Atelier Versace gown because it’s white and washes her out, I think the red lipstick and the red on the gown makes up for it. Granted she does still look like a walking corpse because of her stick thin arms and chiseled face, but this is Angelina. Can she really do no wrong? Well okay, she DID steal Brad from Jennifer Aniston, creating one big fat homewrecking scene, but we are over that now, right?
As for Brad, he did indeed look dapper in a Ferragamo tux, but was anyone really even paying attention to his tux? The best part of Pitt’s ensemble was indeed his walking cane and the long tucked-behind-the-ears mop.
Even though Pitt’s Moneyball did not win for Best Picture and Jolie’s In the Land of Blood and Honey did not win for best Foreign Language film, the couple was certainly one of the best dressed couples there, per usual. Gawd, even though Pitt’s hair is a bit too Fabio for me and I wish he’d cut the scraggle, he still is effing hot.
