What made the “Girls Next Door” show so popular was the differences in the main three women who Hef bedded. But, Bridget Marquardt (the seasoned bunny) claimed that it wasn’t always easy getting along with her fellow co-stars, Holly Madison and Kendra Wilkinson. Too bad there weren’t more onscreen cat fights!
“We got along relatively well for three girls living in the same house and shooting a TV show together and doing everything together. But there was always moments where [it was], ‘Oh, Kendra is late again.’ You know, rolling the eyes, the irritation. There was definitely some of that.” I’m sure there were big fights over who would rub Ben Gay on Hef’s hoo hah, with Holly more than likely being the victor.
Since Bridget has moved out of the mansion, she has put all her energy into her new gig on The Travel Channel. And she obviously has Hef to thank for that opportunity.
“He’s so excited and happy for me. Hef says if I want to come back to the mansion and bring a date, that’s no problem.
“He’s just being really sweet about it. We have gotten closer than ever. I will love him forever, there’s no question.”
From the way it sounds, Bridget was the only woman of the three who truly, madly, deeply gave a rat’s ass about Hef as a lover and a friend. Thanks for your wise words, Bridget. We feel for ya, girl.
