Over the past couple of years, Britney Spears has lived a pretty quiet lifestyle in terms of being involved with the press, particularly interviews. So when this Glamour UK October 2011 issue showed up online, I had to double check the dates. Britney DID in fact take part in a photo shoot, but more surprisingly she gave an interview.

ON TURNING 30 ON DECEMBER 2ND:
“I think the older you get, the wiser you get. I can’t wait,” she told the magazine. “I’m really excited and I am definitely going to celebrate and do something spectacular.”
ON HOW SHE IS GOING TO CELEBRATE HER BIRTHDAY:
I’m going to be in South America so I’ll have to do something pretty fun. A carnival of Britney? I don’t think I’ll be doing that! It’ll be something a little more low-key.”
ON GOALS SHE STILL WANTS TO ACHIEVE:
“I would love to do more movies and venture out into those aspects. It’s something I’m still hoping to do.”
ON HER RESPECT FOR SIMON COWELL’S HONESTY ON SHOWS LIKE THE X FACTOR:
“I think it’s refreshing, but I don’t think I’d be able to be that honest. I’d be worried about destroying someone’s dreams. I’ll definitely watch it and I do think it will work. There are so many shows out like that, but that is one of the best.”
