Bruce Springsteen is still the Boss! Last night in New York, Springsteen among others took part in Stand Up For Heroes benefit that raised money for wounded soldiers. And it was quite the success. Not only that but the Boss rocked!
So how much money was raised? We’ve got the details AND the performances from Springsteen below.
The gig at Manhattan’s Beacon Theatre raised a whopping $400,000, with $160,000 of that from Bruce’s auctioned off guitar, shirt and harmonica! The Boss performed at the show alongside Ricky Gervais, Kathy Griffen and Jon Stewart.
The monies raised will go to aid military families wounded veterans and the Bob Woodruff Foundation and ReMIND.org.
Kudos to The Boss and all others involved!
