Is Ashley Olsen going to be the latest celebrity to drop out of the world of fashion? Well, maybe. Apparently the former child star is thinking of walking away from the fashion industry. But, for what? Acting, my friends. Acting. Well, thank gawd she isn’t contemplating a singing career.
These days if you go “nuts” in the celebrity world, just refer to your breakdown as the “Britney”. That’s what Ashley Olsen basically said. Apparently the more normal Olsen twin has surprised herself in the sense that she didn’t turn out like the Cheetostar and have a breakdown full of bald headed-ness and cheeto crumbs.
The former child star turned fashion designer tells U.S. magazine Marie Claire, “I look at Britney, and I’m surprised I didn’t end up like her. (Growing up) it was almost like I was in the army. School, work, homework, fly to New York, get in at two in the morning, do a morning show at 5am, then another one at seven, then a radio interview at 10.”
Well, thank your lucky stars that you had a good therapist or some good meds, whichever the case may be, beotch!

Who knew 1/2 of little Michelle Tanner would turn out looking like this 17 years later? While Ashley Olsen made millions off of being a squeaky clean little child star, now she can do whatever she wants. And if it means stripping down to her bra for a magazine…hey, she’ll do it!
Ashley’s bra/midriff shot is featured in the Summer 09 issue of V Man magazine in promotion of the twins’ latest designing venture, a menswear line called The Row.
While Mary-Kate wants to focus more on acting, twin sister Ashley has her heart set on designing.
We’re wondering if Bob Saget will get some free swag courtesy of the girls’ line?
It was a rare public appearance TOGETHER for the Full House hotties Mary-Kate and Smashly Olsen yesterday in Los Angeles. And, whether or not you like these two chicks, they are WILDLY successful!
Their latest venture? Authors of a coffee table book inspired by their role models in the fashion industry, the designers, artists and creative entrepreneurs.
Even though the twinsies looked a tad bored at their signing, there were streams of fans lined up for hours outside of Borders to catch a glimpse of the former Full House tots.

Ashley Olsen showed up to the 2008 CFDA Fashion Awards tonight wearing this. What in the beegeezus is this? Call me a little harsh, but this is frickin’ homely! How old is she now 85?
This totally looks like something my grandmother would wear to a funeral, hiked up pants and all. And, that’s ok…for my grandma.
I’m really beginning to wonder if Ashley even owns a mirror.
