It is that time of year again to find out who, according to the Oscars committee, are the best actors and actresses of the year and those who suck…but quite frankly it is the fashion that matters most. Right? Ummm, yeah…well on the red carpet, anyhow. And while most of us have been looking forward to see the hairstyles, gowns and the pre-show interviews….in reality the big event of the evening we all anticipated was the clashing between Brad Pitt and Angelina and Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer.
But, my friends, I hate to break the news to you…it didn’t happen on this year’s Oscars red carpet. Poo on that, but on a brighter note, there were a lot of great looking dresses and a few fashion faux pas.
Brad Pitt and his lady lovah Angelina Jolie braved the cold to show off their hot selves at the 2009 BAFTA Awards in London.
Brad and Ange are both up for BAFTAS, but the question is…will they take home a prize? If they do, you can bet there will be some sexy time that more than likely will produce kiddies galore. Like, I’m predicting triplets this next round. Or maybe the beotch is already preggers? Ok, ok…let’s give the goo goo gah gah talk a rest for one hot minute. So will they or won’t they win? Hmmmm…
One thing is for certain…Angelina looks smokin’. Brad is simply okay. The guido-stache has seemingly turned into a guido-stache with a tail. NOT HAWT. And what is up with Brad wearing scarves and shiz? I’m picturing him at the opera right now, belting out some Pavarotti…or not…but he looks too damn preppy. Why Brad…Why???? I’m not digging this Brad right now. I want the old Brad back.

Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio have been “friends” for years…but to be reunited on the red carpet has got to feel pretty damn good. I mean look at them. Don’t they look freakin’ hot together? I know I say this quite a bit, but omg…these two should have hooked up long before Kate said “I Do” to her director hubby Sam Mendes. No offense, Sam. You’re alright.
But seriously…I mean…I’m sure they’ve knocked boots before, but wasn’t there a strong enough bond to force Leo to break up with that skinny little model heffer he dated way back when? What’s her name…ummm…Gazelle? Asriel?
Whatever, I’m sure it isn’t going to happen, much to my fantasies. At least I can see them together on the red carpet right now, smiling…arm in arm…and whispering and giggling like lovestruck teenagers…for the European premiere of their second film together, “Revolutionary Road”.
While in the UK, Leonardo was asked about his relationship with the award-winning actress. “We have been a great support mechanism for each other. We both started when we were young and have always been great friends ever since Titanic. We have always been there for each other.
And as far as smooching his co-star and “friend”, “I was entirely too used to that from doing that film (Titanic) with her, so to me it was very natural.”
Now here’s the fun quote…as far as on-screen sexy time? “It’s natural and I feel completely comfortable. In a twisted way it’s like kissing a family member.”
They are slowing trickling in…the celebrity attendees of the 66th Annual Golden Globes. Although, you must remember there were NO Golden Globes last year…no official ceremony for drooling over fashionable frocks or dissing on hideous hair dos. Remember that lame little winner’s list that was submitted via wire? So, so, sad. Now that the carpet has been rolled out and the bulbs are flashing, let’s hope these bitches step up their fashion game this year to make up for last year’s lonely red carpet.
Of course, Brooke Burke is early. She cancelled out on her Lee Press-On nail appointment.
The big premiere of Brad’s latest flick “The Case of Benjamin Button” (which I’m dying to see) went down last night in Los Angeles with Brad and his guido-stache making their presence known. Saint Angelina was Brad’s arm candy for the night, while Brad’s mom and pops were along for the ride.
Some other unlikely stars attended the event, with Jennifer Lopez and her trout pout stealing the spotlight. (What the deuce was she doing there anyways?)

Brad and Angie have been in NYC for the premiere of Angelina’s new film “The Changeling”. The child-obsessed duo hit up the red carpet together, all smiles and looking as perfect as ever. Brad and Ange were happy to sign autographs for the hardcore Brangelina fans.
Asked whether she was nervous being back on the red carpet, Angie told People magazine, “Not nervous as much, as I just took a deep breath because it’s been so long. It felt a little strange.”
And while they may be a tad sleep deprived, Brangelina is happy with the six kids they have, but they DO in fact want more kids…eventually. She told a reporter, “I think we’re going to wait a little while.” These two are freakin’ NUTS!
