Winners were revealed at a ceremony held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, hosted by the gorgeous Big Bang Theory star Kaley Couco. Ricky Gervais to Host Golden Globes Sunday Night
Ricky Gervais is set to host the Golden Globes this Sunday!

I don’t know about you, but after missing last year’s Golden Globe Award ceremony, I am making sure that I am not missing it this year. Why? Ricky Gervais.
Just like last year, Ricky Gervais tells Matt Lauer that he won’t back down from his style of hosting the show and does plan on bashing the celebrities we all know and love so much. I’m looking forward to it. In his interview with Matt Lauer, he seems very unapologetic about offending certain celebrities, “If you don’t let yourself be offended, you’re not offended.”
Suddenly, I’m becoming very glad that I’m not a celebrity. Aren’t you?
So, while we all sit back at home and enjoy the celebrity bash (and bashing), we can all take comfort in the fact that what we wear on the red carpet, what we weigh, and what our private lives are like won’t be scrutinized and made fun of for the whole world to see.
But, somehow I take great comfort in the lack of editing and scripting of what Ricky Gervais will bring to the show. Although there were rumors of Ricky having to submit a script pre-award show, Ricky Gervais warned via Twitter that the show, “it’s live! Ha!”
And while the celebrities squirm in their seats, the Golden Globes will finally become really, really interesting all over again. Let’s just hope they have him back for more next year.

New “Hot in Cleveland” this Wednesday on TV Land!
I don’t know about you, but it seems like everything Betty White touches turns to gold. Who knew that the new little show on TV Land where you can find reruns of Roseanne and Leave it to Beaver, would have a superstar show like this? I knew it would happen, of course (okay, maybe I didn’t…).
If you haven’t gotten obsessed with watching Betty White then you can catch a brand new episode of Hot in Cleveland this Wedneseday at 10 PM ET/PT.
What can you expect to find on their newest episode?
Joy (Jane Leeves) and Elka (Betty White) are put in a rhino cage.
Victoria (Wendie Malick) dates a janitor and Melanie (Valerie Bertanelli) dates a senator.
Sounds a lot like the weekend I had just a couple of weeks ago.
And if you want a little bit of a bigger taste of the celebrity life, make sure you catch the People’s Choice Awards (isn’t it exciting? We have the power!) coming Wednesday night at 9/8 C on CBS.
I don’t know about you, but I plan on gossiping all about the why Katy Perry didn’t show up, and *gasp* we all can wait in baited breath to see if Hot in Cleveland won the award for Favorite Cable TV Comedy.
Plus, while you are waiting for those two awesome shows to come on, you can catch the premiere of Chelsea Handler’s new show (by the way, am I the only one who insisted that her last name was Lately?), Are You There, Chelsea all about Chelsea’s life in her twenties, which airs 8:30 to 9:00 PT.
I think we’ll all find out we have more in common with Chelsea than we think. Or, maybe not.

Dance Moms Season Two starts TONIGHT!
She runs a dance studio in Pittsburgh and has a hardcore personality to boot. Tyrannical dance instructor dance instructor Abby Lee Miller may have haters (and mostly due to her weight), but she sure knows how to handle those stage mothers.

Celebrity Big Brother UK Contestants Enter House
The newest series of Celebrity Big Brother began last night when ex-Eastenders star Natalie Cassidy entered the house as the first contestant. The show, which is running on its new home on Channel 5, is in its eleventh season and former contestants include Kerry Katona, Alex Reid and Mark Owen.
Martha Stewart Show Gets Cancelled
Launched in 2005, ‘The Martha Stewart Show’ meets the television graveyard this April after being cancelled just recently by the Hallmark Channel. NBC originally launched the show in 2005, but The Martha Stewart Show got demoted to The Hallmark Channel in 2010. After expensive studio costs and low viewership (225,000), the show met the chopping block. According to the NY Post, Lisa Gersh, president of MSLO, states that production costs are a large part of the issue, and that “[they] will either bring television in-house or find lower cost space, which will…reduce our TV operating margins.”
I must admit that I can be somewhat of a craft weirdo – not that I actually do the crafts, I just like watching other people do them (is that weird?). So, I have to admit that I’m a little surprised that the show is getting cut like it is…but then again, how often can we all watch the stiff perfectionist quality that Miss Martha gives off?
Not only that, but the Hallmark Channel is also uncertain about their other television show – Emeril’s Table – which leaves me wondering if all those craft shows are gonna go down the tubes (much like my long loved game shows which took a dive not too long ago).
Does this mean that we have to find another designer and craft touchstone?
Think again! According to The Hallmark Show, they are exploring new concepts with Martha Stewart and a lot of the staff will stay on…
But Martha promises her small circle of fans that she will have an amazing ‘Oprah-style’ send off in April…which leaves me feeling all warm, and fuzzy inside…I guess.
And to add to the news even more (making it all look more and more sad and pathetic), Home Depot will no longer be selling Martha Stewart paint, which apparently leaves a bad looking finish.
Looks like bad finishes are all over the place here people.
I don’t know about you, but time to go comfort myself in my Martha Stewart linens.
