Celine Dion has been given the go ahead to start recording her new album after suffering from a nasty viral infection. The self-proclaimed Greatest Singer in the World (GSITW) got sick earlier this year and she was forced to cancel a bunch of shows that surely pissed off people who probably spent a few hundred dollars on tickets and probably airfare tickets to travel to see her. Because apparently peeps fly from all over the world just to see See-leen Dee-Own pound her chest like Tarzan.
The GSITW released a statement letting errone know that she ain’t going nowhere. Dion says in a statement, “During this recovery period, so many fans, many of whom were inconvenienced by the cancelled shows, have posted kind words of encouragement on my website. I’m so grateful for their thoughts and their support… more than they’ll ever know.”
And just so you know, she will be back on stage showing off her gams, making goofy faces and chest pounding at the Caesars Palace on June 9th.
Oh yeah. She’ll be singing too.
