After being with Prince Harry for five years (off and on), Chelsy Davy has officially dumped his royal butt. And the future is definitely looking bright for the young student as she hasn’t been locking herself indoors with a pint of Haagen-Daaz and a box of Kleenex…but rather dipping her head in a barrel of fake tanner. Chelsy was spotted looking very Muppet-like and all smiles as she spent some time with friends on her way to class at Leeds University. So, why not the long face?
“The truth of the matter is that while they love each other to bits, Harry and Chelsy have been pulling in opposite directions for some time,” a source said. “Harry knows he needs to knuckle down with his career with the military while Chelsy is taking her finals this year and wants to forge ahead with hers. They have rowed and split up before but this time it appears to be permanent. They both realized that they had reached an impasse and that things had run their course. She moved to England only because she knew Harry had no choice but to be based here. That said, she is not a quitter and intends to get on with her career. She is very sad about the break-up, still loves Harry and wishes their circumstances were different, but these things happen and she needs to move on with her life.”
What a shame! It seemed these two were in it for the long haul. My gut feeling tells me that this isn’t the end for Chelsy and Harry. I never really pictured Chelsy as “Royal” material, but who knows really what the future will hold? Hopefully, the future for Miss Chelsy will involve a lot less rolling around in barrels of tanner.
