Christina Aguilera is on a promotional run for her new fragrance By Night and for the November issue of Cosmopolitan UK, the songstress lands the cover and chit chats about being naked and keeping her marriage hot. (Forget about the perfume, we want a new album, dammit!) Check out some of the highlights below.
About feeling comfortable in her own skin, Xtina says, “I feel sexiest in the nude … [My husband, Jordan Bratman] has a way of making me feel sexy … When you see something you dislike and your partner looks at you and embraces it. It makes you feel good. You know, the scars of life are beautiful.”
So even though she is married, just who does she think is more attractive in the buff…men or women? Xtina dishes, “I think women are more sensual. Finally, I mean … I’m attracted to men, definitely. I’m married and I love what I do with my husband, but frankly, if I choose between seeing a naked man and a naked woman, I am woman. It is just naturally look sexy!”
So just how does she keep the spark alive with her fugly hubby Jordan Bratman?
Aguilera says, “It’s important to make time for yourselves. I don’t like schedules – I don’t think sex should be scheduled. We all have our little turn-ons and the things that make our romance spicy, so you just have to tap into what that is for you, and keep experimenting.”
Despite having a child two years ago, Xtina says she hasn’t changed her style. In fact, you won’t be seeing this beotch in a Winnie-the-Pooh sweatshirt.
She says, “It’s important for me to be the first person [Max] sees when he wakes up and the last thing he sees when he goes to bed … there are a few songs that have been inspired by him. But as far as it affecting me creatively – like, I shouldn’t be wearing that because I’m a mom – no. Because that wouldn’t be fair to me. It’s important to keep a strong sense of yourself when you’re a mom. You’re still you, and you can still be confident in your sexuality.
She adds, “I’d never give up my musical or artistic side just to be a mother. There’s got to be a balance and I want to set that example – as the kind of woman I want my son to respect.”
