Clive Davis has created and maintained the careers of some of the music industry’s biggest voices. From Whitney Houston to Kelly Clarkson, Clive can take the credit for believing in many artists who otherwise may have not had a successful career as they do now. Can you believe this old duffer has over 40 years experience in the music industry? Yeah, Clive is the freakin’ shiznit. He may need to wear Depends to prevent drippage, but we aren’t hatin’. Clive Davis IS a living legend.
Last night, big name celebrities attended the Clive Davis booty-kissing event including such stars as Duffy, Estelle, the Jonas Brothers, Chris Brown, Katy Perry, Eric Benét, Rihanna, Sheryl Crow, Fantasia, Wayne Brady, will.i.am and Jazmine Sullivan.
American Idol made their presence at the event with appearances by Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtry, Kelly Clarkson, Ryan Seacrest, big dawg Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul and new Idol judge Kara DioGuardi.
And the list goes on….Natalie Cole, Foo Fighters, Herbie Hancock, Miley Cyrus, Missy Elliott, Andy Williams Russell Simmons, Taylor Swift, Dwight Yoakam, and Earth Wind & Fire all attended. Phew.
I absolutely cannot wait for today’s big event!
