The Conan O’Brien 60 minutes interview is a juicy one. Many peeps were pissed (including myself) that NBC hired on Coco for The Tonight Show only to basically give the show back to Jay Leno. What an effing shady deal. But, Coco is speaking out saying that Leno douched him by gracefully accepting his spot back on late night.
Conan spoke out about the NBC deal, specifically his thoughts on Leno’s actions saying, “He went and took that show back and I think in a similar situation, if roles had been reversed, I know– I know me, I wouldn’t have done that. If I had surrendered The Tonight Show and handed it over to somebody publicly and wished them well– and then…six months later. But that’s me, you know. Everyone’s got their own, you know, way of doing things.”
Basically NBC is to Conan as Lindsay Lohan is to Samantha Ronson. They are toxic to one another. Conan stated, “I think this relationship is going be toxic and maybe we just need to go our separate ways. That’s really how it felt to me…and I started to feel that I’m not sure these people even really want me here….I can’t do it [anymore].”
Well as crappy as a deal as it was, I have a feeling Conan is going to land back on top with his new stint on TBS. Watch out bitches, Coco will be back to rock your world!
