One of Hollywood’s longest unions has officially ended, according to reports. After almost thirty years together, Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman have called it quits. DeVito is the star and producer of countless films while Perlman is best known for her role on Cheers. The two married in 1982 and have been a force in Hollywood for nearly as long.
Jersey Films, which they co-founded, is responsible for a slew of films, including the cult classic Pulp Fiction (which resurrected the career of John Travolta), and Garden State. The couple have three children together – Daniel, 25, Grace, 27, and Lucy, 29.
Interesting how these two are divorcing just as his Twins co-star and friend Arnold Schwarzenegger is also in the middle of a divorce to his wife Maria Shriver. Now we all know that The Ah-nuld has been a huge ho while married to Maria. I pray that the same does not happen in this divorce. If a bevy of women come forward proclaiming DeVito knocked them up, I will probably curl up and die somewhere!
