Demi Lovato says “Be careful who you trust”

If there is one celebrity that I am happy who got her crap together, it’s Demi Lovato. She is such a beautiful and talented girl who took the necessary steps to get her life back on track. Now that she is back in the limelight, looking and feeling healthy, Demi is ready to go on tour and share her new music with her fans. In an interview with Parade.com, Lovato talks about her past year and what fans can expect on tour.

Highlights from the interview below.

ON FINDING BALANCE WHILE ON TOUR:

“I’m in a much happier and healthier place now, so I’ll be able to decide when I need time off. It’s a different era in my career. I’m sure that if I need time off I’ll be able to speak about it and I’ll take a step back.”

ON DECIDING TO OPEN UP ABOUT HER RECOVERY:

“I just realized that once I went into the treatment center, pretty much anything and everything was going to come out anyway. At the same time, I wanted to help other people who shared my issues.”

ON THE BIGGEST LESSON SHE LEARNED OVER THE PAST YEAR:

“Just be to be careful who you trust. Sometimes you don’t know who you can and cannot trust. I still learn that over and over again.”
