Despite a rocky, intense relationship with her ex husband Charlie Sheen, Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen have managed to get along for the sake of their two children Sam and Lola. In fact, they are so close NOW than before that they are said to have a “brother and sister” type relationship.
Now while that is creepy, considering they have two children together, I can understand the bro-sis comparison. They fight like freakin’ cats and dogs, but yet stick together despite their differences and quite frankly, they’ve learned that they need to get along because they are bound by blood in the form of spawn.
While we shouldn’t expect Masheen and Denise to literally wear blood vials around their neck, we will quite often see many photos of this mini family taking trips to beaches far and wide and Masheen smiling his toothy grin.
Richards told Access Hollywood, “We’ve actually become like brother and sister, we really have. We’ve become very, very good friends and we wanted to have a trip with our daughters… We actually get along… If you’re divorced, it’s no longer about you anymore… (The key is) making it about the kids. You have to be the bigger person and make it about the kids and so that’s what we’re doing.”
In other words, there is no hanky panky but there is, indeed, harmony. Winning.
