Whitney Houston’s mother Cissy Houston is busy with a pen and paper. Her daughter may have passed away this spring but girlfriend is putting out a book that she hopes will focus on the positive side of her daughter and not the hot mess that drugs got her into. We mentioned this news a month or so ago, but we now have more details on this.
The AP reports that Cissy signed with HarperCollins to write an “unabridged and unbelievable story” about Whitney that will come out next February.
So where is all this money going that will be generated from book sales?
While nothing has been officially announced, we have heard that some of the proceeds will be donated to the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, N.J., where Whit grew up and where her funeral ceremonies took place.
We shall see.
