The Barrymore dynasty has possibly entered into the next generation. Drew Barrymore, one of the few remaining from the acting dynasty, has finally given birth to a child with her husband Will Kopelman. The couple welcomed daughter Olive Barrymore Kopelman to the world on September 26th and both mother and daughter are reportedly fine. Drew released a statement through her publicist.
“We are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Olive Barrymore Kopelman, born Sept. 26th, healthy, happy and welcomed by the whole family. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this most special time in our lives.”
Barrymore had been contending with rumors of pregnancy for the greater part of the year, and although she never publicly spoke about pregnancy directly, she did speak indirectly about her upcoming birth. She was quoted in Haute Living…
“I can’t wait until I have my children. I just want to build fun, great things for my family.”
Barrymore and her husband married in June, when her baby bump was evident. She has also been photographed around town attending yoga classes for expectant mothers and out with Kopelman’s parents. This is the first child for them and we wish the happy couple the best!
