Ryan Murphy has saved the day once again. Not only has he signed Adam Levine (Maroon 5) for the second season of American Horror Story, but also recently announced is that first season cast member Dylan McDermott will be returning to the second season.
Ryan Murphy is the producer of the show and via his Twitter account he let it be known that McDermott would indeed be returning. What’s unknown now is in what capacity and for how many episodes.
In other casting news on the show, Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family), who played a mental patient in season one, is slated to return to the series in season two as well.
Now, if they could just snag Connie Britton off of Nashville for a minute so she could do this season as well. This is my favorite show on television right now and if you are not watching it, you are sorely missing out! And if Murphy does not include a scene with Adam Levine and Dylan McDermott naked, we will all be upset!

I agree, Connie Britton definitely needs to make an appearance on season two as a character even it is one episode, it would be a nice surprise for fans. I was talking about the second season with my co-worker from DISH, and we both agree this season will be much scarier than the first. Unfortunately, I will miss the season premiere because of my work schedule at DISH. I set my Hopper to record the upcoming episode, and with all the DVR recording room I’m recording the rest of the season. It will be interesting to see Adam Levine as a character in this show, so far they have done well with their selection of actors/actresses.
