Hailed by Rolling Stone as Green Day for the next generation, Emily’s Army is a new band from Oakland, CA comprised of teenagers Max Becker (bass), Cole Becker (guitar), Travis Neumann (guitar), and Joey Armstrong (drummer). All teenagers, aging from 15-17, Emily’s Army has already spent two years touring up and down the west coast.

The band’s name stems from a 15 year old cousin of co-songwriters, Max and Cole, who was diagnose with Cystic Fibrosis in 1998. In tribute to her, the band adopted the name, which also happens to be the moniker for a fund raising organization in their cousin’s honor.
