Emmy Rossum and Adam Duritz met on Twitter and so far things are going fabulously.

Ahhh, online celebrity lovers. Who’d have thought? While Twitter seems to be THE place for celebrities to voice their opinions, announce their new loves, losses, baby’s births and starting fights, it can now add matchmaker to its many uses.

About her new love Rossum says, “I was on tour with the band this summer. They invited me actually on Twitter. That’s how we met – on a dare. They dared me to come sing with them a song that I’d never sung before … So I ended up on tour with the band, and it was very, very fun.”

And the rest is history…for now. Until they marry, have kids, then divorce and go through a nasty custody battle that leaves Duritz high and dry and Rossum turning into some bad ass mama who ends up posting for Playboy and…

Ok whatever. We’ll see what happens. The point is, is that Twitter just may be the next Match.com.
