Deiondra Sanders may be one of the many socialites out there in the world of celebridom, but you can bet your booty she won’t be showing off her booty or anything else for that matter in a sex tape like many of the other socialites we have grown to hate or love. As the daughter of the legendary footballer Deion “Prime Time” Sanders, Deiondra may have the connections and the money to do what she wants, but she appreciates where she came from and is going to do her damnedest to make a difference in someone else’s life.
But with celebrity star status comes invasion of privacy and media drama and Deiondra has had plenty of that in her young life. In an exclusive interview, Danity Donnaly had the chance to ask Deiondra about her life in the spotlight, those Chad Ochocino dating rumors, the bisexual rumor reports and more. Deiondra even has a proposition for Rob Kardashian, so Robby if you are reading this, you best listen up!

DANITY: It’s such a pleasure to chat with you Deiondra. When I first heard I was going to be interviewing you, I almost peed my Depends. In case you all didn’t know, Deiondra’s dad is the legendary footballer Deion Sanders and yes, I had a massive crush on your daddy-o when he played for the Dallas Cowboys. Got damn, did I ever. (laughs) I gotta ask you dahling, what is it like being known as Deion’s daughter? I mean, it’s definitely gotta have its benefits and its annoyances.
DEIONDRA: (Laughs) I will be sure to tell him. Some of my friends growing up have just recently confessed they used to think my dad was sexy. I was so like eww! (Laughs) Being the daughter of Deion Sanders is such a bittersweet feeling. I love all the advantages and benefits I have and the life I was blessed to live in growing up. The bitter side, people are always expecting certain things out of me and growing up i can constantly known as Deion Sanders daughter and not Deiondra. Being in the position I am in its hard for find anyone that’s real out there. I must look out for opportunists and users that just see me for what i can do for them and not the type of person i am. Other than that its a real blessing and it has sooo many benefits that i would NOT be able to live without (Laughs).
DANITY: Well, thank you. I’m holding you to that now, I hope you know. So girl, how have you used your celebrity status to your advantage?
DEIONDRA: OMG. (Laughs) I was young wanting to party and travel. His name really came in handy with trying to do that. Now that i am older, I am adding something more to the Sanders name, a new perspective. Besides football, while sharing some of my own swag, I am currently in the studio recording my single. I’m also breaking into the modeling and acting field. God Has blessed me!
DANITY: I know you initially went to college as a fashion major but then later changed your major to psychology and youth evangelism. First of all, what made you, Miss Fashionista, decide to change the course of your fashion career path and are you still pursuing the latter?
DEIONDRA: I absolutely love fashion, but I love helping others more. I’ve always gotten everything I wanted so I want to give back and what better way to give back then to actually help others become successful by encouraging and mentoring them I am working on opening a shelter for ten girls. You know, giving them a safe place to run to when their in need. You have to start at the core. It’s really satisfying knowing I made a difference in someone else’s life. I love It.
DANITY: Awesome, girl. Ok, now onto some juicy goodness. Just last year I heard that you separated from your rumored bisexual mate Nia Riley, Teddy Riley’s daughter. Was the breakup really as nasty as it was reported? Can you clear up any rumors there?
DEIONDRA: Ok, first and foremost, I AM NOT BISEXUAL. (Laughs) I have nothing against bisexuals. In fact, I have bisexual friends of course but that’s just not my cup of tea and that’s all I have to say about that subject.
DANITY: Alright then. So all you media outlets who reported that nonsense and all you readers who believed it, there you have it! Ok so, last fall it was rumored (reported by MediaTakeOut) that Chad Ochocinco took
you out on a date in Atlanta after a Bengals and Falcons game. Was there ever a love connection between you and Chad or was that just an innocent get together that the paps photographed?
DEIONDRA: OMG! I’ve gotten so much static about Chad and I. I know Chad through my dad. We are more like brother and sister. Chad and my dad work out and train together from time to time…that’s all. He’s a great guy with a wealth of knowledge but that’s it. Sorry America. No romance story here.
DANITY: Ok, ok. I’ve been sneaking up on you via Twitter and am assuming that you are single and ready to mingle. Who are your celebrity crushes?
DEIONDRA: (LAUGHS) I am very single. I do have a crush on a few celebrities but the one who tops the cake is the actor Idris Elba. I am a huge fan of his and HE happens to be very handsome.
DANITY: You hear that Idris? Deiondra’s got her eye on you. (laughs) Ok so a lot of celebrities make sex tapes and accidentally release them in hopes of a massive career launch. It seems as if those tapes are hidden in the closet for that “right” moment. What are your thoughts on celebrity sex tapes, in general?
DEIONDRA: Wow, totally caught me of guard with this one. Well, I personally think it’s wrong. It’s degrading and insulting to that person’s character. I come from a church raised family and that’s just totally against my morals, but it is not my place to judge others. It’s their prerogative. If they are comfortable with such acts than it’s a, “What ever floats your boat,” kind of thing. Me personally, I would never.
DANITY: Ok girl. We’ve got that on record now!
DANITY: You and your family did a reality show back in 2008 called Prime Time Love. What was the hardest part about doing a reality show and would you ever do it again?
DEIONDRA: The hardest part about doing a reality show is how much time out of your life it takes up. Once you start filming it’s like you have NO free time or alone time. Other than that, I enjoyed it and yes, I would definitely do another reality show.
DANITY: Here’s a fun one. Can you tell me one thing that people don’t know about you? Hidden talent? A jaw-dropping secret you would be willing to share?
DEIONDRA: A hidden talent about me is I play basketball. I used to go to 24 hour fitness and join the pick up games, but seriously I am really good. I’m open to a one on one with Rob Kardashian. That’s if he’s man enough. (laughs)
DANITY: Oooo weee! Rob Kardashian, I hope you heard that!
