She is best known for her role as Lily on the Disney Channel’s highly successful Hannah Montana, but what you may not know is that Emily Osment had a passion for music long before her television debut. It’s just now she’s been given the opportunity to share her talent and her musical creations with the world.
It was in 2009 when Osment released her first EP All The Right Wrongs that her fans were longing to hear more music from the talented teen. Not only did her EP debut number one on Billboard’s Heatseekers and remain on the charts for 31 weeks, but her single All The Way Up moved all the way up to the Top 10 on Radio Disney. After a year of writing with some heavy hitters and putting together the perfect artistic package, Emily’s debut studio album Fight or Flight was born.
Danity Donnaly spoke with Osment about the end of Hannah Montana, her new not-so-bubblegum-pop-but-electronically-addicting album Fight or Flight (out in stores now) and yes…we even talk Miley.
Check out the interview below!
Whether she is behind the camera or behind the microphone, one thing is clear…Osment is enjoying every bit of her journey and soaking it all in. Go on with your bad self, girl!
