Move over Lauren Conrad and Snooki, Glamour.com celebrity gossip blogger Shallon Lester is the latest fierce bitch to take over MTV with a reality show all her own. Now before you say oh-my-gawd-not-another-annoying-fake-ass-drama, you best keep your flap trap zipped. Let me tell you right now, there are no plastic Barbie dolls stirring up trouble and seen nibbling on lettuce, no fame-hungry douchebags or lame-o showmances created in order to keep your attention. Downtown Girls is as real as it gets. No, seriously.
The cameras follow five unique girls trying to make it in NYC. With a Sex and the City-esque narration by the blond beautiful Shallon, we get insight into how she and her gal pals handle the pressure of being a twenty-something in the busiest bustling city on Earth. Not only is she bubbly, quirky and fun, she is that chick that you can have an honest heart-to-heart with. And we did just that.
