Axl Rose was robbed of $200,000 in jewelry after a Guns N’ Roses concert in Paris on Tuesday. The thief reportedly made off with three of the legendary frontman’s gold-and-diamond necklaces.
A Paris police spokesman said that the theft occurred during a private gathering after the band’s show at the city’s Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy stadium. An investigation into the incident has been opened by police, who report Rose did not appear to be wearing the necklaces when the theft occurred.
Rose is the only original member of Guns N’ Roses that remains in the band and he recently received widespread criticism over his decision to not attend the band’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
